• Your credit card number (for transaction and reservation purposes)
• Your membership number for any partner programs related to your stay

• Your questions/comments, during or following a stay at Hotel Bergs or Rumene Manor. The information collected in relation to persons under 18 years of age is limited to their name, nationality and date of birth, which can only be supplied to us by an adult. We do not deliberately collect sensitive information, such as information concerning race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, union membership, or details of sexual orientation. Depending on applicable local laws, other information which could be considered sensitive, such as your credit card number, your leisure activities, personal activities and hobbies, may be collected in order to meet your requirements or provide you with an appropriate service, such as a specific diet. In this case, depending on the laws in force in certain countries, your prior consent may be required with regard to the collection of this sensitive information.

1. Hotel activities: Booking a room, Checking-in and paying, Requests, complaints and/or disputes.

3. Transmission of information from third parties: Tour operators, travel agencies, GDS reservation systems, and others
4. Internet activities: Connection to Hotel Bergs’s website (IP address, cookies), Online forms (online reservation, questionnaires, Hotel Bergs pages on social networks, etc.).
7. HOW WILL WE USE THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

1. Meeting our obligations to our customers.
2. Managing the reservation of rooms and accommodation requests: Creation and storage of legal documents in compliance with accounting standards.

Managing your stay at the hotel: Monitoring use of services (telephone, bar, etc.), Managing access to rooms, Internal management of lists of customers having behaved inappropriately during their stay at the hotel (aggressive and anti-social behaviour, non-compliance with the hotel contract, non-compliance with safety regulations, theft, damage and vandalism, or payment incidents).

Improving our hotel service, especially: Processing your personal data in our customer marketing program in order to carry out marketing operations, promote brands and gain a better understanding of your requirements and wishes, Adapting our products and services to better meet your requirements, Customising commercial offers and the promotional messages we send to you, Informing you of special offers and any new services created by Hotel Bergs.

Managing our relationship with customers before, during and after your stay: Segmentation operations based on reservation history and customer travel preferences with a view to sending targeted communications, Predicting and anticipating future behaviours, Developing statistics and commercial scores, and carrying out reporting, Providing context data for offer tools when a customer visits the website or makes a reservation, Knowing and managing the preferences of new or repeat customers, Sending newsletters, promotions and tourist, hotel or service offers, or contacting by telephone, Managing requests to unsubscribe from newsletters, promotions, tourist offers and satisfaction surveys, Taking into account the right to object, Using a dedicated telephone service to search for persons staying at Hotel Bergs in the event of serious events affecting the hotel (natural disasters, terrorist attacks etc.).
6. Use a trusted third party to cross-check, analyse and apply certain devices to your collected data at the time of booking or at the time of your stay, in order to determine your interests and your customer profile, and to allow us to send you personalised offers.
7. Improving Hotel Bergs services, especially: Carrying out surveys and analyses of questionnaires and customer comments, Managing claims/complaints, Offering you the benefits of our leisure membership.
8. Securing and enhancing your use of Hotel Bergs website, especially: Improving navigation, Implementing security and fraud prevention.

8. CONDITIONS OF THIRD-PARTY ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
To guarantee you the right of access and amendment (“Access and modification” clause), we have to share your personal data with internal and external recipients subject to the following conditions:
a. Within Hotel Bergs or Rumene Manor, in order to offer you the best service, we can share your personal data and give access to authorised personnel from Hotel Bergs or Rumene Manor, including:
• Hotel staff
• Reservation staff using Hotel Bergs or Rumene Manor reservation tools
• IT departments
• Commercial partners and marketing services such as an email service provider

• Generally, any appropriate person within Hotel Bergs or Rumene Manor entities for certain specific categories of personal data.

Consequently, in addition to implementation of this policy, Hotel Bergs and Rumene Manor employs appropriate measures to ensure secure transfer of your personal data to a Hotel Bergs and Rumene Manor entity or to an external recipient located in a country offering a different level of privacy from that proposed in the country where the personal data is collected. Other than those that are required to carry out your reservation, data flows to countries having different levels of personal data protection are regulated by standard contractual manager-to-subcontractor clauses defined by the European Commission. Data flows to the United States are made to entities that belong to Privacy Shield.

All requests will receive a response as swiftly as possible and in accordance with applicable law. Substantial access requests may incur an administration charge.
15. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO OUR HOW PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY

16. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The range of terms and validity
1.1. The terms are valid between the person (hereinafter Customer) and the webpage www.rumene.lv (hereinafter Rumene Manor online booking) and www.hotelbergs.lv (hereinafter Hotel Bergs online booking) owner Hotel Bergs Ltd for the legal relations while purchasing products and services via Rumene Manor and Hotel Bergs online bookings.
1.2. Purchasing services and products via Rumene Manor and Hotel Bergs online bookings there are legal acts of the Latvian Republic regulating the legal rights in addition to current terms and conditions.
1.3. The transactions made at the online booking must be made by a capable person at least 18 years of age. If the person makes the transaction not according to the regulations, the person whose bank account or debit/ credit card is used will be responsible for the transaction.
1.4. Rumene Manor and Hotel Bergs does not sell alcohol to guests under 18 years of age. The hotel maintains the right to ask for the provision of proof of age identification and decline the minor's order. The advanced payment of minor's additional orders including alcohol are returned in the amount of the drink to a person whose bank account or credit card was used for the payment only.
1. All prices are in Euros and include the taxes regulated by the Latvian Republic.
2. Observe carefully the selected price information. Prepayment is obligatory for some prices. If you cancel a price of a prepayment condition, then the hotel has the right not to return the prepaid amount.
3. If you have not paid in advance for a house, you will be charged upon arrival in local currency. In the house, you can pay in cash and with the following cards – VISA, MasterCard, EuroCard & with cards of Latvian banks.
18. PAYMENTS FOR ACCOMMODATION WITH PREPAYMENT
1. The product selected by the customer from Rumene Manor and Hotel Bergs online bookings must be paid in the full amount. By making the payment, the customer will assure that he/she has fully read and accepted the terms and conditions provided by the service provider in the online booking engine.
2. The amount shown in online booking can be made through the internet banks as well as Visa and MasterCard debit and credit payments.
Straight after completing the payment by bank transaction or card transaction, the customer must push the button “back to the vendor” in order to confirm the transaction.
19. BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
When making a booking, you are required to state your name, date of birth, phone number, address, arrival and departure date and/ or promo code. Bookings with promo codes – to have a promo code, you have to make an agreement personally. All details (name of the promo code, validation, conditions etc.) will be set personally between you and Rumene Manor or Hotel Bergs. Your booking is only confirmed after you receive the booking confirmation.
20. CANCELLING AND CHANGING THE ORDER AND REFUND
1. Different cancellation policies and money refund terms vary depending on the accommodation and/or accommodation package rates, therefore, please always read the pricing information carefully. Terms about the cancellation, modification and money refund are written in the description of the accommodation and/or accommodation package price in the hotel online booking. If you cancel a price of a prepayment condition, the hotel has the right not to refund the prepaid amount.
2. Accommodation and/or accommodation package is valid from the start and end date of the accommodation and/or accommodation package. Accommodation and/or accommodation package is not valid after the expiry date and it will not be refunded or changed.
3. To modify your booking, please make a new booking and cancel the previous one by e-mail, online booking or phone. Please note that the rate as well as the room type available for the new booking may have changed.
4. If you cancel a price of a prepayment condition, the hotel has the right not to refund the prepaid amount.
5. In case of non-arrival or later cancellation, the hotel reserves right to charge 100% of the first night as a No-Show fee. If hotel has any costs made specially for your reservation, you have to compensate them.
6. Your confirmation email will specify the exact cancellation due date which is the deadline you must cancel by in order to avoid any cancellation fee. Please check the hotel policies carefully.
